Goals of the Innovation Day
The STA Board of Directors welcomes you to the 5th Innovation Day 2025. Startups, companies, and universities working on security-relevant technologies will have easy access to the current challenges facing the military.
Proposals for solutions are to come from all areas, including outside of defense technology. For this purpose, the STA has launched the Innovation Day.

Innovations for the Army
The Army presents its innovation needs in the fields
- Field-ready and highly secure login procedure for the troops (simap ID #20164)
- Monitoring of logistics infrastructure (simap ID #18953)
- Innovative effect from systems against ground and/or air targets (simap-ID #19943)
The framework will be announced on Innovation Day and can be found in the relevant simap.ch publications. Selected participants will be able to gather feedback and experience with their innovation proposals through field trials with the troops.

Networking program in the morning
On the Gurten 08:30 - 10:00: Check-in from 07:30 valley station
Networking 2025Networking in the morning - innovators and integrators come together.
Please arrive at the top of the Gurten in good time.
The goal is for interested innovators and integrators to arrange a meeting in advance and meet for networking the morning before the official start to discuss and form partnerships. This personal exchange provides an opportunity to formulate questions and plan joint paths. After presenting the innovation needs, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Register and share your contact details, including LinkedIn, a brief profile, and a description of your planned contribution.
