MISSION

The STA is an association and sees itself as an independent link between the army, procurement authorities, business and science.

It promotes dialogue between the various interest groups in this area and actively contributes to deepening mutual understanding, particularly with regard to the planning, development, procurement, use, and disposal of goods and services required for the implementation of Swiss security and armaments policy.

The STA has existed since 1955 and has around 400 members.
